Message from Newport Beach PD Alerts
A residential burglary was recently reported in the Upper Newport Bay area.
2500 Block of Sierra Vista (26000923)
Occurred around approximately: 6:30pm on 2/12/2026
While the victim was away, an unknown suspect accessed the property and removed some of the exterior cameras around the house. From the backyard of the property, the suspect shattered a rear sliding glass door to enter the home. Inside, the suspect ransacked various rooms throughout the home.
The victim received a notification from the security system that there was activity in the house and called police. No suspect was located in the area when officers arrived.
