A residential burglary was recently reported in the Castaways Community.

Reported on: 1/28/2026
Around 5:30 a.m. on 1/28/2026, a resident reported a suspicious individual in the area. Officers contacted the suspect and took him into custody for drug-related charges.
Later that day, the victim, who resides on Cape Andover, reported some property missing from their attached garage. The garage had an exterior side door that had been left unlocked. Officers were able to determine that the some of the property the arrestee had in his possession at the time of the arrest had been taken from the victim’s garage.
Loss: Bicycle, speaker. (Both recovered)
