Message from Newport Beach PD Alerts
Two residential burglaries were recently reported in Newport Coast.
Pacific Ridge (RD 64)
Observatory (25008296)
Occurred between approximately: 10:00 am on 12/20/2025 and 1:30 pm on 12/23/2025
While the victims were away, unknown suspects accessed the backyard of the property and damaged some of the backyard lighting. The suspects located a ladder on the side of the house and used it to access a second story window. They shattered the window to get inside the house, specifically the primary bedroom. Inside, the suspects locked the interior door leading to the primary bedroom and ransacked the room before fleeing the scene.
Loss: U.S. Currency, handbags, jewelry.

Pelican Hill (RD 66)
Premiere Point (25008370)
Occurred between approximately: 12/23/2025 and 12/27/2025
While the victim was away, unknown suspects accessed the backyard of the property and climbed to the second story balcony. From the balcony, the suspects shattered a sliding glass door leading to the primary bedroom. Inside, the suspects ransacked closets and a storage room in the primary bedroom before fleeing the scene.
