Message from Newport Beach PD Alerts
Two residential burglaries were recently reported in the Crystal Cove Community.
Moon Shell (25-8023)
Occurred between approximately: 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm on 12/11/2025
While the victims were away, unknown suspects accessed the backyard of the property and attempted to climb to the second story balcony without success. The suspects then shattered a first-floor glass door to get inside the house. Inside, the suspects ransacked the primary bedroom, closet and bathroom before fleeing the scene.

Occurred between approximately: 10:45 am on 12/11/2025 and 12:30 pm on 12/12/2025
While the victim was away, unknown suspects accessed the backyard of the property and used a staircase to access the second story balcony. From the balcony, the suspects shattered a sliding glass door leading to the primary bedroom. Inside, the suspects rummaged through drawers, cabinets and boxes in the primary bedroom, closet and bathroom before fleeing the scene.
