Message from Newport Beach PD Alerts
A residential burglary recently occurred in the Pacific Ridge Community.
Veranda (25-5268)
Occurred between approximately: 2:00pm and 11:00pm on 8/15/2025
While the victim was away, unknown suspects accessed the backyard of the property and climbed up to the second story balcony. From there, the suspects shattered a glass door to get into the home. Inside, the suspects locked the primary suite door then proceeded to rummage through drawers and cabinets in the bedroom, bathroom and closet. The suspects located a safe and forced it open. The suspects fled the scene by exiting back through the shattered door.
Loss: Handbags, jewelry, and U.S. currency.
